Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.Job Description: We are searching for a mechanical or electrical engineering technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks. The candidate will be responsible for completing several of the production-related tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner. This position is contracted to run through the end of 2026. However, if the candidate performs well and shows a desire to grow their skillsets within the team, the opportunity may exist for the contract to be extended into 2027.Responsibilities:- Assembling and testing complex devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components- Building cable harnesses and other electrical assemblies- Assembling complex kits using custom packaging- Working with engineers to help manage the inventory for several high-demand products- Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites- Assisting with set-up and tear-down of large automation systemsKey Attributes for Success:- Focused urgency- Ability to self-prioritize multiple tasks- Organizational skills- Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)- Ability to read and follow a wiring schematic- Experience crimping connectors, soldering, drilling, and tappingRequirements:- Associate"s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology- 5 years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components- Have actual experience in the responsibilities listed belowBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
