We are seeking an Associate-level Multi-Sector Portfolio Manager who combines strong investment fundamentals with the ability to apply data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to real portfolio management workflows.This is a highly differentiated opportunity to work at the intersection of public markets investing and next-generation portfolio management systems, with exposure to how investment processes are being scaled and transformed across the firm.Your Responsibilities:Portfolio ManagementSupport the management of multi-sector fixed income portfolios across institutional and ETF mandatesAssist with portfolio construction, positioning, and trade implementationMonitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and attributionAI & Workflow-Enabled InvestingApply AI tools and data-driven workflows to enhance:portfolio monitoringrisk identificationreporting and analyticsPartner with senior PMs and technology teams to improve how investment decisions are generated and executedContribute to initiatives focused on automation and scaling of investment processesProcess & Platform ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies and contribute to improving portfolio management workflowsSupport integration of new tools and analytics into platforms such as AladdinHelp scale best practices across portfolios and teamsYou Have2–5 years of experience in asset management, trading, or investment analyticsStrong understanding of fixed income markets (multi-sector preferred)Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreamsDemonstrated ability to apply data and/or AI concepts to real-world workflowsExperience with Python, SQL, or data tools and dashboards or analytical reportingStrong interest in how AI and automation are changing investment processesBA/BS requiredProgress toward CFA (or CFA charterholder) preferredFor San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$116,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
